isaveall is a free online tool to download public SoundCloud tracks as MP3 files with the track title and artist in the file name. Paste the track link, including the short on.soundcloud.com links the app shares, and save it without an account. Only public, streamable tracks work.
How to download
Open the track, tap Share and copy the link. soundcloud.com/{artist}/{track} and on.soundcloud.com links work.
Put the link in the box at the top: tap Paste or type it. soundcloud.com/artist/track, m.soundcloud.com and on.soundcloud.com links are read; a set or playlist link isn't a track, so open it and copy one track's own link. The SoundCloud app opens links in its own browser: use Safari or Chrome to save.
Tap Download MP3 in the result. The file is named with the track title and the artist; it goes to Files on iPhone and to Downloads on Android and desktop.

What SoundCloud allows
SoundCloud gives every artist a choice: enable a download button, allow streaming only, or keep the track private. This tool works with tracks that stream publicly, converting the stream to MP3 at the same 128 kbps SoundCloud uses; the next section lists what stays out of reach.
Music on SoundCloud belongs to its artists. Keep downloads for personal listening unless the track's license says otherwise.
Tracks, sets, playlists and Go+
Paste the link of one track: soundcloud.com/artist/track, or the on.soundcloud.com link the app creates when you share. Sets and playlists (soundcloud.com/artist/sets/...) are not expanded: open the set, pick the track and copy its own link. Likes, reposts and profile pages are not tracks either. The MP3 is complete from start to end and plays in any music app on the phone or the computer.
SoundCloud Go+ tracks from major labels stream only for subscribers and are blocked for everyone else, including our server. Tracks whose artist restricted playback to SoundCloud's own player, private tracks and tracks taken down after a rights claim all fail with a not found error. As a rule, whatever plays for a logged-out visitor on soundcloud.com works here.
Keep the MP3 for personal listening: offline on a commute, in a workout playlist, as a reference while you produce. Using a track in a video, a DJ set you publish or anything commercial needs the artist's permission or a license that allows it; many SoundCloud artists state one on the track page, and some offer their own free download with a better file.
When the track plays instead of downloading, and other snags
On some phones the browser opens the MP3 in its own player instead of saving it. That is the browser deciding, not the file. On iPhone, use the Share icon and Save to Files, or press and hold the download button and choose Download Linked File. On Android the download notification usually holds the file even when a player opens on top of it.
A track that fails is almost always one of three things: private, a Go+ exclusive from a major label, or restricted by the artist to SoundCloud's own player. Reposts and likes are not tracks either, and an artist page has no single file behind it. The test that never lies: open the link in a private window; if it plays there without an account, it downloads here.

Is the SoundCloud downloader free and safe?
Yes. No account, no app and no limit for normal use. The MP3 is produced on our server from SoundCloud's public stream and sent to you as it is made; we keep no copy. The only cookie on the site is the Google Analytics one that counts visits; nothing for advertising.
Is the MP3 the same quality as on SoundCloud?
Yes. SoundCloud streams most tracks at 128 kbps and that is what you get; artists who offer a download button provide higher quality through SoundCloud itself.
Can I download playlists or albums?
No. Sets and playlists are not expanded: open the set, pick the track and copy its own link, one at a time.
Why does a track fail?
It is private, region-locked, a Go+ exclusive, or the artist disabled streaming outside SoundCloud.
Can I use the music in my videos?
Only with the artist's permission or under the license shown on the track page (some are Creative Commons).
Does it work with the mobile share links?
Yes. on.soundcloud.com links are resolved.
Do you add tags to the MP3?
No. The MP3 carries no embedded tags; the file name holds the title and the artist, so your player shows them from the name. Add tags with any tag editor if your library needs them.
Do you keep the tracks?
No. The MP3 is produced from SoundCloud's stream and sent to you in one pass, without being written to disk. We store neither the file nor the full link.
How do I download SoundCloud tracks on iPhone?
Paste the link in Safari and tap Download MP3. The file goes to Files under Downloads, and you can play it from there.
Can I download SoundCloud tracks at 320 kbps?
No. SoundCloud streams public tracks at 128 kbps; higher bitrates exist only for Go+ subscribers inside the app. A 320 kbps file made from a 128 kbps stream is just bigger, not better, so we keep the original.
Can I get WAV or FLAC?
No. The source is a lossy 128 kbps stream, so a WAV or FLAC would only be a larger copy of the same audio. If the artist enabled free download on the track, SoundCloud's own download button gives you their original file.
Is it legal to download SoundCloud songs?
It depends on the track's license and your country. Many artists allow it (look for the free download or Creative Commons label); for the rest, keep the file for personal listening and ask before reusing it.
