Facebook reels in practice
Facebook reels share the vertical format of Instagram reels and often the same content, but they live on facebook.com/reel/ and are served by Facebook's own video system. This tool fetches the best MP4 rendition Facebook exposes for the reel, usually 720p or 1080p, with the original audio.
Reels from pages and public profiles work; reels that only friends can see require a session and are not reachable.
Getting the sound only
Tap Download MP3 in the result to keep only the audio of the reel, encoded once at 128 kbps from the track Facebook plays. Reels often carry a licensed song cut to the reel's length, and Facebook mutes some of them in countries where it lacks the rights: when that happens the reel plays silently on Facebook too, and the MP3 is silent as well. The file is facebook_ plus the reel id, with .mp3, and it is meant for personal listening; the rights stay with the creator and the music's owner.
Watermarks, private reels and the link you need
Facebook does not burn a watermark into reels the way TikTok does, and we add nothing of our own, so the MP4 you get here is clean. The exception is a reel that was filmed somewhere else and re-posted: if the creator exported it from TikTok or Instagram with the logo already inside the picture, that logo is part of the image and no downloader can lift it out.
Private reels are a different story, and the honest answer is no. A reel shared with friends only, or posted by a profile that is not public, is served by Facebook to a signed in session and to nothing else. Our server has no session, so it sees the same content unavailable page a stranger would. The quick test takes five seconds: open the reel link in a private browser window. If it plays without asking you to log in, it downloads here; if it asks, it will not.
The link itself can be any of the shapes Facebook hands out. The app copies facebook.com/reel/, facebook.com/share/r/ or an fb.watch short link depending on where you tap Share, and all three end up at the same reel. Paste whichever one you have, with its tracking parameters still attached; they are stripped before anything is fetched.

Do Facebook reels download without a watermark?
Yes. Facebook does not stamp reels, and we add nothing, so the file is the reel as Facebook plays it. The only logos you will see are the ones the creator baked into the video before uploading it, usually because the reel was made on TikTok or Instagram first.
Do I need to log in to Facebook to save a reel?
No. Public reels are visible to anyone without a session, and that is what we fetch. Reels shared with friends only need a login and can't be reached, even if you can see them in the app.
Is the quality kept?
Yes. We fetch the best file Facebook serves.
Do you store the reels people download?
No. The reel travels from Facebook's servers to your device; on a phone it passes through ours only to force the download, without touching disk. We don't log the full link.
Does it work with reels from pages I follow?
Yes, any public page or profile. The reel must open without logging in.
What about the music in Facebook reels?
The MP4 includes the audio as Facebook plays it, unless it was muted for copyright.

No. One link per download. There is no batch mode and no profile download.

Paste the link in Safari, tap Download MP4 and Safari puts it in Files (Downloads). Open it there and use Share, then Save Video, to move it to Photos.
