How to download

Audio from Facebook videos and lives
Facebook serves most videos with separate video and audio streams in DASH format. To give you an MP3 we take the AAC audio stream on its own and convert it once, without touching the video, which keeps the process fast even for long live replays. The result carries the whole audio of the video from start to end.
Which Facebook videos give a useful MP3
Talks and panels streamed live by pages, church services, podcast episodes posted as video, music performances and radio shows are the typical sources: content where the picture adds little and a lightweight audio file is more practical. Reels work too, but their audio is short and often a licensed song cut to fit; the MP3 is the reel's own mix, not the full track, and not a higher quality than Facebook plays.
The rules are those of the video downloader: the video must be public, from a page, a public profile or a public group, and no longer than 30 minutes. Videos that Facebook shows only after you log in, friends-only posts and content inside private groups are not reachable. If a video is muted on Facebook because of a music claim, the MP3 is silent as well: nothing can be recovered from a track the platform removed.
The MP3 is complete from start to end and has no tags embedded; the file name comes from the post. Keep it for personal listening: audio from a public post still belongs to whoever published it or to the music's rights holder, and sampling it in something you publish needs their permission.

The video is private, shared with friends only or posted in a private group. Only public videos are reachable.
Does a long live replay work?
Up to 30 minutes. Replays of a full service or a conference often run longer; those are refused before anything is downloaded, so look for a shorter cut of the same event on the page.
Can I paste an fb.watch link for the MP3?
Yes. fb.watch and facebook.com/share/v/ links redirect to the video page; we follow them and list the MP3 the same way.
Is the Facebook MP3 the same quality as the video's sound?
Yes: it is the AAC stream Facebook serves, converted once to MP3 at 128 kbps. Nothing is re-recorded or upsampled.
Do you keep the audio files?
No. The audio is extracted and streamed to you in one pass, without being written to disk, and is gone when the download ends. We don't log full links either.
Can I get only part of the audio?
No. The MP3 covers the whole video; trim it in any audio editor.
Is it legal to convert Facebook videos to MP3?
Saving the audio of a public video for personal listening is generally fine. The rights stay with the publisher or the music's owner, so ask before using it in anything you publish or monetize.
Can I convert a Facebook reel to MP3?
Yes. Paste the reel link (facebook.com/reel/...) and choose MP3. The file is the reel's own audio mix, which may include a licensed song cut to the reel's length, not the full track.
Can I get the Facebook MP3 at 320 kbps, or as WAV or FLAC?
No, and no site can. Facebook serves the audio as AAC at around 128 kbps, so 320 kbps, WAV or FLAC would only make a bigger file out of the same sound. We convert that stream once, at 128 kbps, and hand it to you. Anything that claims more is padding the file.
Can I save a Facebook MP3 on my phone?
Yes, from the browser. On iPhone, Safari drops the MP3 into Files under Downloads and the Music or Files app plays it. On Android, Chrome saves it to the Download folder and any player picks it up. Open the link in Safari or Chrome, not in Facebook's built in browser, which does not save files.
